This week, we honor and remember those in our lives who have died. Our Spanish students share their memories of loved ones on a traditional Dia de los Muertes altar. The students placed photos, sugar skulls, flowers, candles and other "ofrendas" to honor their loved ones. This cultural experience ties in with the Catholic celebration of All Souls' Day on November 2nd.
This year, the Benedictine Sisters of St. Walburg Monastery will honor the loved ones of our Villa students, faculty, and alumni at a special Mass. The Villa Madonna community offers up its prayers for those who have suffered loss, and we send warm wishes and blessings your way as we remember dearly departed loved ones.
