VMA College Fair
Mar 25, 2019
Villa Madonna Academy sophomores and juniors had a unique opportunity to meet with college representatives right here on campus at Villa's first college fair. Thirty-five colleges and service providers came to Villa to meet our students. The fair was planned by school counselor Walter Ingram. Representatives came from University of Kentucky, University of Evansville, Miami University, Xavier University, University of Louisville, and Western Kentucky University to name a few. Mr. Ingram said one of the biggest advantages of a college fair for juniors is that it allows students who have started the college planning process to research, evaluate, and narrow down their college choices. For sophomores, a fair such as this allows students to kickstart their college planning process and to learn what colleges are looking for by speaking directly to college reps, and both sophomores and juniors benefit from meeting representatives in an environment in which they are comfortable.
Villa's guidance department will continue to work with students throughout their college planning journey. Look for more opportunites to come!
