Congratulations to our elementary and junior high students who participated in the Kentucky United Nations Assembly in Louisville last week! Thirty students from grades 5-8 attended the two-day conference. They represented the countries of Australia and Papua New Guinea in this mock United Nations event sponsored by the Kentucky YMCA. Villa junior high students - Reese Holtzman, Caroline McDonald, and Emma Meyer - won the award for Outstanding Resolution for their work on a resolution to curb overfishing.

This week, our high school students are attending the HS KUNA session. We look forward to hearing about their experience at the educational summit.

Thanks to teachers Ben Tilley and Bob Henson for their work as advisors with our student ambassadors.
