Villa Madonna Academy students is back in session. Students have the option of learning on campus or learning at home (Non-Traditional Instruction or NTI).  Plans may change due to the ever-changing situation with COVID-19, and as part of the Diocese of Covington, Villa follows directives from the Diocese regarding the return to in-school instruction.

The internal Planning Task Forces for both high school and elementary school worked diligently all summer.  These groups include members of the administration, faculty, facilities staff, and technology staff. In addition, we appreciate the work of all involved with the Diocese of Covington and the guidelines provided by the Kentucky Department of Education, CDC, and the Northern Kentucky Health Department.

We have developed the following plans for the 2020-2021 school year:

Plan A: In-person instruction following the Diocesan requirements and guidelines. Families have an option for NTI following the NTI requirements.

Plan B: Full NTI when directed by the Diocese of Covington.

We are currently proceeding with Plan A and following the school calendar for 2020-2021.

The Diocese of Covington has released the following safety requirements. In addition, the Diocese requires that all families returning for in-person instruction to complete a Health Acknowledgement Form. Employees, too, will fill out a similar form.

Our K-6 education plans and safety plans may be found here. Our HS/Jr. High education plans may be found here.

Plans are constantly be updated to do all that we can for student and staff safety. We ask for your patience as we navigate these changes. It is our VILLAge that makes it possible for us to do all that we do.

Thank you for your continued support!
