Neighbors Who Care
Jan 03, 2017
Congratulations to sophomore Ainsley Marlette who was recognized in the Community Recorder's "Neighbors Who Care". Ainsley has been active in supporting GO Pantry - an organization that provides weekend food bags to children in need in Boone County. Ainsley has raised $1,500 for GO Pantry. She has helped organize volunteers for GO Pantry and recently spoke to Villa's middle school/junior high Y Club about GO Pantry's needs as they hosted a food drive for the group.
Ainsley also founded the Northern Kentucky chapter of the Hometown Initiative - a non-profit organization that helps connect people with needs with those who are able to help.
Ainsley - like all of our students at Villa - is committed to the Benedictine value of service. We thank her for her hard work in the community.
