Elementary art students are hard at work creating Stations of the Cross for the Villa Madonna Academy Chapel. Students from grades K-6 have all had a hand in creating the ceramic artworks. They have been working with art teacher, Ms. Heather Pillow, and our artist-in-residence, Mrs. Amanda Kolar. Students have carved and printed images on blocks. They then print the images on terra cotta. The pieces are fired in our in-house kiln and will be assembled into masterpieces.

We've been peeking in on the progress each week, and we love what we see! We are eager to see the final results in April. To learn more about Villa's art program, please contact Mrs. Janet Baugh at 859-331-6333 ext. 139.
