Villa Madonna Academy's fifth grade students set sail in logic block this week. The students broke into groups to build boats out of aluminum foil. The goal was to see which groups boat would float when pennies were added to it. The students tallied how many pennies each boat carried without taking on water. During the lesson, the fifth graders learned about team work, volume, density, and mass. Villa's teacher stress hands on learning and teamwork each week during dedicated logic blocks. Ask your student what they did in logic block this week.
