Villa Madonna Academy students, faculty, and staff from grades K-12 celebrated the elementary school's 2017 National Blue Ribbon School Award. The all-school assembly welcomed representatives from U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell's office and U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie's office. We were also visited by state Rep. Diane St. Onge, state Sen. Chris McDaniel, Villa Hills Mayor Butch Callery, and Covington Diocese Superintendent Mike Clines.

Mr. Clines (pictured above with elementary principal Soshana Bosley) talked to the students about all the work involved in earning Blue Ribbon recognition and even demonstrated the teamwork necessary by having students, teachers, parents, and grandparents body help a kindergarten student body surf!

It was a wonderful celebration of our school. Thank you to all who attended.
