The Blue Lightning is rumbling on this fall sports season. Villa Madonna Academy is making its mark. The girls' soccer team secured its fourth consecutive Northern Kentucky Athletic Conference (NKAC) Division III Championship last week. The team's nine seniors have never lost a Conference game in their careers at Villa.

The honors and victories don't stop there. The boys' soccer team hosted Senior Night. They honored their seniors with a 7-0 victory over Beechwood. Senior Gabrielle Schulte was selected to the 9th Region All "A" Volleyball Tournament team, and the girls' golf team is 9th Region All "A" champions. Plus, Villa Madonna has three NKAC Players of the Year. Eric Baugh (Class of 2015) was named player of the year for track. Freshman Brooke Meier earned the title for softball and senior Brianna Desmarais for tennis.

Villa is also very proud of its sixth grade volleyball team. The girls won the St. Joseph's volleyball tournament for the second year in a row.
